5th Place: Air Oasis 1000 UV - Very Good Rating
MSRP $399.99. I like the rugged, simple design of this purifier. The quality is evident and the materials are good (very little plastic). It has decent cleaning ability for smells, gases, VOCs, and basic microorganisms. Not as effective on particle removal. Low maintenance and low maintenance costs are also pluses. I would consider this purifier for spaces that are not too dusty or where the focus is on smells, gases, VOCs, and basic microorganisms. 5th best rated air purifier over 300 sqft. MSRP $499.95/ $569.95 smokestop. The Blueair 501 & Blueair 501 w/ smokestop option are very simple to use and maintain. They come with an exceptional warranty of 10 years. They will effectively clean 580 sqft (at 6 air changes per hour), but could be stretched to accommodate a larger room, a smaller apartment, an office, or a business location.
