Summary: The Shaklee AirSource 3000 utilizes two types of active purification technology. The first is a UV lamp is specially utilized and surrounded with additional technology that produces an advanced oxidation reaction. The result is a cleaning that actively emits from the purifier into the room to reduce odors, gases, VOCs, and microorganisms. Some ozone as well as other oxidizers are emitted, but is well within safe standards if used properly. They recommend using in spaces over 500 sqft. The second technology used is ionization. It is negative only which does remove particles if enough positive ions (charges) are present in your space. RGF is a big player in the commercial air and water purification industry. A Good Value.
